DESIGNED FOR THE PEOPLE

Approximately half of the Sydney Place precinct is dedicated back to the public, including the first plaza on George Street in over 50 years. The plaza is framed by a truly unique community building, designed by esteemed British architect Sir David Adjaye in partnership with Australian indigenous artist Daniel Boyd. The precinct hosts the city's first Public Cycling Facility, located underneath the plaza.

These community spaces have been developed by Lendlease in partnership with the City of Sydney and is owned by the City of Sydney.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which Sydney Place is located, the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, and pay our respects to them and their elders - past, present and emerging.
