New retail laneways are now open in Sydney Place
Sydney’s newest dining and lifestyle precinct have opened their doors in Circular Quay.
Sydney Place have opened their vibrant new retail laneways located in the city’s newest dining precinct. The three intimate retail laneways will include Sydney’s casual dining favourites, quick lunch spots and after hour bars from some of Australia’s most recognisable and awarded chefs, restaurateurs, and lifestyle retailers.

Ah Toy Lane is an everyday dining spot with a warm energy and operators serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between including, BoBo Dumplings (opening in May), Toastiesmith, Open Sesame Middle Eastern concept, Burger Point, Sushi Yuzen, Dopa, C9 Gelato and Yasaka Ramen.
Sai Ying Lane is the gateway to Sydney Place connected directly to Pitt Street and will be a busy thoroughfare with quality, quick food options that make for easy takeaway. It will include Lode Pies, Malay Chinese Noodle Bar, and Kosta’s Sandwiches.
Underwood Street is a hidden alleyway destination for all things pocket-sized and intimate, from coffee and toasties to a destination Japanese diner and a tattoo parlour. Key operators will include Joel Best’s new Japanese-inspired restaurant and whiskey bar concept (opening in June), Kingswood Coffee, and cafe The Associate, as well as Thirteen Feet Tattoo.
The remaining retailers will open their doors progressively over the next couple of months, including the highly anticipated opening of Jacksons on George.
